Hello! I am Rachael, the founder of Living Well Therapeutics, PLLC. I have lived and served in this community for over 20 years and have twenty three years of experience in the healthcare industry in dynamic settings: Emergency medicine as an EMT/Firefighter, and in acute care settings working at one of the Top 10 Hospitals in the country as a licensed Registered Nurse with a Bachelors in Science. In addition, I also carry a speciality Certification in Medical-Surgical nursing care, CMSRN.
More importantly than my years of medical experience, is my heart for people and my genuine ability to understand how beautifully hard life can be. I understand both the highs and the lows! I’ve experienced struggling to work all day then attend school all night, to balance life/schedules and now almost 25 years of marriage. I know what it’s like to raise 4 children, one who is now a nurse herself, to experiencing multiple physical setbacks from emergent surgeries and unplanned life events, to running kids to different practices at different times…..for years, trying not to feel like I was failing because my house was still a mess and dinner still hadn’t been started.
I know what it’s like to hold a patient’s hand while wiping their tears after watching them hear about a devastating diagnosis. I’ve been with families at scenes of accidents, families saying goodbye at the bedside and families welcoming new life. I understand what it feels like to give 100% to the demands this life brings/takes, often feeling like there is nothing left at the end of the day for myself, let alone to live life abundantly. I wanted more and dared to believe it was possible both for myself and my patients/community! I want to continue to pour my life’s work into people, but this time focusing on wellness through prevention and natural treatment alternatives.
When you feel better and are fueling your body with 100% absorption of the vital nutrients it needs, life starts to look different! Not only have I personally experienced this but I see it reflected in the faces and posture of my patients. There is hope, anticipation, energy, motivation and dare I even say more joy! We were meant to live a life of vitality and wellness, not sickness and repair.
